Stone Hawk drug rehabilitation center is the most successful inpatient drug rehab in the country, offering a 76%+ success rate.
Stone Hawk drug rehabilitation program doesn't teach anyone's morals and codes of what should be and what is; society already has its own laws. What we do, is direct students that come into our drug rehab program to discover that they can develop a lifestyle that fits their needs and wants without drug addiction or alcoholism. The individual writes his own morals and codes that he can live by. It takes away all of the loss of everything - no more therapy, group counseling, no meetings, no more fights with family and allows the person to produce and change. Making those decisions for themselves and how they want to improve.
In short - we use the New Life Detoxification Program for drug detox (Saunas) to sweat the drugs (toxins) out of the body. Then we show the student what ethics are, they make the decision to change their life - we just direct them by showing them the path to freedom. Helping someone recognize their addiction and giving them the ability to end it - is what we are all about. It's all about stopping, changing, and starting (a new life).

Our Drug Rehab Facility
The name Stone Hawk represents Native American traditions and beliefs. The "stone" symbolizes the tribal clan the individual belongs to (turtle clan, deer clan, bear clan, etc.). The stone is solid. We chose it because to us, it symbolizes the choice to join a new "clan" to belong to-- the "drug-free" clan. The Stone Hawk Clan. The "hawk" is symbolic of healing, vision, rebirth and spirituality. The feathers of the hawk are used in healing rituals and ceremonies among tribes. |
Choosing a Drug Rehab Center
Choosing a drug rehab and treatment center can be very difficult. There are so many questions to ask, so many things to take into consideration. But where should you even start?
First and foremost, it is important to remember that not all drug treatment programs are the same. There are many things that you must consider when choosing a drug rehab center in order to find the center that will work best for the individual seeking treatment. Not only is their treatment philosophy important but you may also want to consider location, setting, or whether or not the drug rehab treatment center will accept your insurance or funding options.
Other considerations when choosing an addiction treatment center should include the following:
- The type of accreditation or licensing that the program has
- Whether or not there have been studies to measure the effectiveness of the treatment program methods
- The type of medical treatment needed or available at the rehab center.
Other questions to ask should include:
- Is the staff knowledgeable about addiction treatment?
- What sort of “aftercare” programs do they have?
- What does the center do about relapse prevention?
- Is the facility clean and well organized?
- Does the program encompass the full range of individual needs?
- Will there be an ongoing assessment of an individual’s treatment plan to ensure they are meeting the patient’s changing needs?
- Does the program offer counseling (individual, group and family) and other behavioral therapies to enhance the individual’s ability to function in the family/community?
- Are services or referrals offered to family members to ensure that they understand addiction and the recovery process?
Successful drug treatment outcomes depend upon retaining the individual long enough to gain the full benefits of treatment. Whether or not the individual stays in treatment and is successful in treatment depends on both the individual and the program.
Individual factors related to engagement and retention include motivation to change the drug-abusing behavior, the degree of support that the individual receives from family and friends, and whether there is additional pressure from outside sources to stay in treatment (such as the legal system, child protective services, etc.).
Within the program, successful counselors should be able to establish a healthy, positive, therapeutic relationship with the patient. A treatment plan needs to be established and followed so that he or she knows what to expect during treatment. It is also important that the drug treatment center provides “aftercare” to ensure that the patient is still following their treatment plan after being discharged. Aftercare services could include continued counseling and group/individual/family therapy sessions.
Overall, drug rehabilitation centers are well worth the cost. Drug addiction treatment is cost-effective in reducing drug use and its associated health and social costs. Treatment is also considered to be less expensive than other alternatives.
According to some estimates, every $1 invested in drug rehab programs yields a return of between $4 and $7 in reduced drug-related crime, criminal justice costs and theft. When savings related to healthcare are included, the savings can exceed costs by a ratio of 12 to 1. Additional savings to the individual and society come from significant drops in interpersonal conflicts such as workplace productivity and reductions in drug-related accidents.
After you have conducted a telephone interview, and contacted a number of different drug abuse treatment centers, you may also want to consider making a personal visit to the center prior to making your final decision. Many rehab centers offer tours or visits to help you decide whether or not a particular center would work best for you or your loved one.
