When you are addicted to drugs your physical and mental body is relying on those drugs to function "normally". Without the drug your body experiences cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
Drug addiction can be a need for a sensation associated with the drug use, a need that begins to consume a person’s mind, inhibits the ability to rationalize clearly, and becomes the very reason for which that person lives and thrives.
