You described the Nature of the Addiction Cycle to the point; a strong will to get rid of the addiction is the basis of the success.

This is a very enlightening article especially for myself, a daughter of an alcoholic. I am a staunch believer of alcohol intervention simply because I know it is necessary to let the alcoholic realize that there is something wrong before actually sending him to a treatment program. This is where family ties come into action because there maybe instances that the alcoholic will keep on hurting a family member or himself and deepen the wound his addiction has created. But it is helpful to make him realize that nobody cares for him that much except for his family.

I heard you the Wickstroms were invited to speak directly to Vince Daniels and debate these concerns/issues directly. I think it would be a great opportunity for you to voice your successes and plans of corrections in areas lacking. Are you planning on going forward with this debate?

Apologies I assumed you were a staff member at Narconon. Seeing as how you don't know anything about my situation please refrain from saying these claims are narcissistic. I do not want this to be about me, my speaking out is completely about keeping other people from being put in my situation-to help people make an informed decision which is something not afforded to me. Since I have left staff members have used me to attempt to get those leaving to stay by saying that I apologized for speakng out and was forced by my mother to do it. That is a complete lie and assuming that you work there or tha someone who works there reads these things was my mistake. I am glad Stonehawk helped you I left without completing the program and I am sober as well. Maybe we were bohth just ready, maybe you were "cured"', I will cure myself in another way. One thing doesn't work for everyone, the fact that another approach better suits my ideology and essentially my being doesn't make my success any more or any less. I merely want Stonehawk o be honest about everything and don't wish to be spoken about by them-it is illegal, unethical, and offensive. Good luck to you, I honestly am glad the program worked for you-but one size never fits all.

You misuderstand the point I am trying to make. It is too simple to say I don't like the methodology. In fact some of it makes a lot of sense but the way in which it is executed could be improved upon if here was not an exclusive use of mehods of L. Ron Hubbard. Everyone can larn something from any ideology so for a secular facility would it not make sense to incorporate theories and more importantly factual findings of the scientific community into a program which has remained stagnant for so long. Evolution of ideas and growth are important to individuals and organizations. Doing this could possibly make the program better, you don't have to wait until something is broken to improve upon it and make it better.

The True narcissism of the drug addict is revealed. nobody is talking about you in particular. But while you are talking about yourself, the short and skinny of it is you, for whatever reason, decided to go to Narconon, and then, for whatever reason, decided to leave. I know nothing about your situation, your medical health, who said what to whom, who lied to whom, or anything about you. I don't even know who you are. I think you have me confused with someone who works for Narconon. What I do know is that I, for my reasons, went to Stone Hawk, and I, for my reasons decided to stay. Against my will to leave, and today I'm sober. Plain and simple.
